4 Days Under Our Belt

We've officially been open 4 days!

It was a wonderful feeling to peel the paper off the windows on Friday and let in some light and Saturday turned out to be the perfect day to open for business.The weather was gorgeous and in the 70's and we had lots of foot traffic and curious visitors from near and far all weekend (the farthest was from Sweden!)

We've have a great response to the store "remodel" and everyone in town has been very welcoming. Thanks to all who have stopped by so far to "whoop-a-howdy" on us (as my father-in-law says).

We've got a lot of work ahead of us to get our gift basket and sewing production up and running but the days seem to be going by quickly so hopefully we'll be up to speed in no time. Check back soon to see our progress!

Busy B is Ready to Open!

Well I hate to admit it (because I'm EXHAUSTED) but I think the easy part is over ;) Now it's time to get down to business!

After... the New Shop

Lots of painting, cleaning, banging, swearing, swearing (whoops, did I already say that? ;)), sweating, dancing and even a little drinking went on behind the papered windows as we got ready to open, but we finally did it!

During.... New Fixtures

After the painting was finished it was time to move in our new display units and get started on setting up our new digs...

Devin and John (his pop) had their hands full with all the putt'n together.... they were AWESOME!

During .... Painting

We demolished some built-in pieces and then moved everything in the entire store to the center in one day to get ready for the painters.

The posse from Paint Rangers made the treck all the way from Snohomish to work their magic on the inside of the shop. These guys are like a swarm of bees...seriously. The whole place was painted including all the walls, trim, wainscotting and the built in shelving in about 6 hours. AMAZING!
